Two-phase expansion plan for Guatemala City center released

Knoah Solutions, Inc. (www.knoah.com), a global business process outsourcing company, today unveiled an expansion plan to immediately increase capacity at its nearshore facility in Guatemala City, Guatemala with additional space to accommodate further anticipated growth.
With the success we experienced in our two locations in Honduras, we added a location in Guatemala City in early 2018, which has proven its value by allowing us to offer scalable and cost-effective options to our customers. The current expansion blue print of our new center includes dedicated conference and training spaces, an IT room, and biometric security in a multi-story facility near the U.S. embassy that the company first moved into last year. The increase in capacity marks the progress we are making towards our move to a larger, flagship facility later this year.

Knoah currently has nearly 700 agents and support personnel working from two contact centers in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Chatbots that aim to automate human conversations have struggled to deliver results in robust environments. Knoah’sChatHelper, powered by Augment, takes a different approach by utilizing AI for what it’s good at—sifting through mountains of customer data. Human operators can then use their judgment to select from and personalize the best options based on understanding the customer’s context and needs. Chats per day were 15+% higher in the ChatHelper group. Agents with the tool handled communications almost one minute faster than agents working without it and had a 2.3% higher resolution rate.

Expanding to Guatemala City will allow Knoah to offer its clients additional cost-effective benefits in the region and in the same time zone as their U.S. customers. It boasts a substantial pool of skilled, bilingual employees with higher education and culture oriented toward customer service.

Knoah Solutions, Inc., a global business process outsourcing company, today announced they have expanded their operations in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, with the addition of another location. The expansion comes a year after opening their first location in the capital city.
Situated in the Palmira neighborhood, the new location is a five-minute drive from their first nearshore facility in Costa Próceres. The new, 2000 square meter facility with 402 workstations will increase the total capacity in Honduras to approximately 731 seats for Knoah’s contact center operations. The state-of-the-art facility has the latest in communications and security technology, including an uninterrupted power supply, a power generator and biometric and proximity reader access security points.
“Our client and employee growth in Honduras has exceeded our expectations and we are getting a great return on our investment in facilities and staff. We are enthusiastic about doubling our capacity with this new facility,” said Ralph Barletta, executive vice president and co-founder of Knoah Solutions.
Knoah will soon begin hiring more than 300 jobs between Palmira and Costa Próceres to keep up with its increasing client base. The majority of openings are for customer care, technical support, sales and interpretation agent positions; though management and support positions are needed, also.
